Motorola Joins The Party, Xoom Now Available For INR 21,500!

It looks like reducing tablet price is the latest trend in market. After RIM and Samsung, now its Motorola’s turn. Company has slashed the price of its #-Link-Snipped-# by a hefty amount of almost Rs. 10,000.

When Xoom was launched in India, in June last year, the tablet was priced Rs. 32000. The price was set this high as it was the first tablet in market running Android Honeycomb. But unfortunately Indian market didn’t respond well to the offer and it was overshadowed by other competitors like iPad, Galaxy etc. But now, Motorola is back in race with a new weapon - low price!

While the exact cut price is unknown, several online retailers are selling Xoom at slashed price. The Wifi, 3G, 32GB version of the tablet is available on Flipkart for Rs. 26,850, while koovs is selling Wifi version just for Rs. 21500 and 3G version for Rs. 25000. Xoom comes with some really great features like 1 GHz dual core processor with NVDIA Tegra 2 which makes it powerful enough to support HD gaming. The tablet also supports flash. Moreover it has a 5MP primary and 2MP secondary camera along with a 10.1-inch touch screen. And it can record HD videos too!

There is no official confirmation from Motorola if it’s a permanent price slash or just a year-end inventory clearance sale, but a tablet with such features and such price will surely attract customers. Hurry Up and book one before stock gets over!
