Satya Nadella, President of Microsoft Server and Tools Business along with Brad Anderson, corporate vice president of Microsoft Management and Security Division released the product in a web telecast. There will be two versions of the new release: standard and data center. Both of them have all the eight solutions along with an integrated installer. The licensing plan is also simplified as now you only have to purchase only one license for all the products. The new system center lets companies develop private cloud and use the business applications on all private and public cloud platforms. All the components of MSC 2012 are either Release Candidates (RCs) or beta version. The integrated components with Microsoft System Center 2012 are:

[*]System Center 2012 App controller (beta),
[*]System Center 2012 Configuration Manager (RC),
[*]System Center 2012 Data Protection Manager (beta),
[*]System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection (RC),
[*]System Center 2012 Operations Manager (RC),
    [*]System Center 2012 Orchestrator (RC),
[*]System Center 2012 Service Manager (beta),
[*]System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager (RC).

Microsoft System Center 2012 Data Center Edition users can have unlimited space to host virtual machines. MSC 2012 also allows users to access non-microsoft products including mobile phones. According to Anderson, the system puts the administrator in the middle, so that he can manage any device which the employee is using, no matter if it’s an android phone or iOS powered tablet.

The system is available as beta release and if users don’t find any bugs, the product will be available for general use soon. Microsoft is very humble on price too. The standard edition will cost around $1300 and the Data Edition Center will provide unlimited virtual machines for just $3600. Now,  the company who would be on their feet right now are Vmware! Vmware is the only big name in this market till now, and this release is going to break their nap!
