Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro With Full Vision Display & Dual Selfie Camera Launched For Rs. 13,999

Micromax Informatics is trying its best to fight off competition from Xiaomi in every price bracket. Last week it had launched the Bharat 5 smartphone in the budget category and now it has set its sights on the mid-range market. Today it unveiled the Canvas Infinity Pro smartphone which shall go up for sale exclusively on Flipkart. As the name suggests the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is the second in the Infinity series of smartphones from Micromax which have Full Vision display. The bezels on the top and bottom are too big for us to call it a bezel-less smartphone but nonetheless the edge to edge display looks good.

With the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro, the Indian smartphone manufacturer also wants to draw some of the crowd away from Oppo and Vivo who are known for their selfie-centric camera smartphones. The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro has a dual selfie camera setup on the front. You get a 20MP f/2.0 + 8MP f2.2 aperture camera setup along with a soft LED flash. The first camera deals with the resolution and second one adds depth. When it comes to the rear camera we have a 16MP sensor with LED flash. Both the front and back cameras support real time beauty filters. The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro sports a 5.7inch 18:9 aspect ratio HD resolution (1440 x 720 pixels) display.

Since the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro will retail for Rs. 13,999 which is bit more expensive than other Micromax offerings, the company has opted to go for a Qualcomm chipset. Sadly it is not the one you are thinking about. While smartphones in this range from Xiaomi have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset (Redmi Note 4), the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which has a 1.3GHz octa-core ARM Cortex A53 processor setup along with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro runs Android Nougat out of the box. You also get a fingerprint sensor just underneath the rear camera.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro has an internal memory of 64GB.The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is powered by a 3000mAh battery which can easily push the smartphone for a day and a half on average use. The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro will go on an open sale from the 7th of December at midnight on Flipkart. Sadly we cannot foresee tons of Micromax Canvas Infinity Pros being sold as the smartphone goes on sale on the same day as the Mi A1 will be sold for Rs. 12,999 for the scheduled Big Shopping Days.
