Micromax Canvas 6 Pro Pre-Order Begins At Rs. 13,999; Shipping Commences 20 April
Micromax's latest flagship phone - Canvas 6 Pro - that was announced last week at the company's brand overhaul event in Delhi, is up for pre-orders now and the company will start shipping the same from 20th April. Customers who wish to pre-order the phone may proceed to Micromax's newly launched e-store and prebook the device for a partial payment of Rs. 1000/-.
Now for the phone specifications - the Canvas 6 Pro has a plastic body with an ergonomic polymer grip. It features a 5.5-inch full HD screen and is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 Tru-octa processor clocked at 2GHz along with 4GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD slot. At the rear is a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and PDAF, and at the front is a 5 megapixel camera for video calling and for clicking selfies. The connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi. The phone runs Android Lollipop 5.0, and comes with Micromax's brand new Around Discovery platform and several pre-loaded applications.
In the rebranding event held by Micromax last week, the smartphone maker announced their new strategy for company expansion - which included a new logo, their in-house e-commerce store and also details of the remaining product that they plan to launch this year (including TVs and smartwatch, other than 15 smartphones). Micromax stated that its long term goal is to be a standard name in consumer electronics.
