Marmalade's High Speed Motion Control Video Will Blow Your Mind

I have always been a fan of high speed motion control. But when I laid my eyes on this masterpiece of a video, it blew my mind off. The Marmalade, a company from Germany, specializes in high-speed work & it's project called 'Spike' is a High Speed Motion Control System that has made it possible to capture groundbreaking videos. 'Spike' can freely move the camera with unparalleled speed and precision, thereby removing the previously existing creative limitation of having to shoot high speed sequences with a locked camera.

The folks at Spike used an industrial robot along with their software built from scratch to develop an unique system capable of creating real life camera moves with the ease of use normally associated with 3D Animation. See the breath-taking video for yourself:
