MacBooks Powered By Fuel Cells To Be Future Reality?

The global computing giant Apple Inc. has filed a patent for a concept which can power electronic gadgets, including your very own #-Link-Snipped-#!

As per the application filed by #-Link-Snipped-#, it can be assumed that the company plans for future electronic gadgets to be powered by renewable energy sources. The fuel cell used in these gadgets will have only water as a by-product. Apple is working on reducing the cost of fuel cell and making it compatible with portable devices.

The company has devised a solution to supply & receive power to and fro a rechargeable battery. The fuel cells can work for weeks together with single cartridge. This solution presents ways to make renewable power tangible to use in portable computing devices and electronic gadgets.

The applications submitted by Apple Inc. can be found with the US patent and Trademark office, titled FUEL CELL SYSTEM TO POWER A PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICE - APPLE INC. and FUEL CELL SYSTEM COUPLED TO A PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICE - APPLE INC.. Apple has many patents in its name. The company understands that it is high time that the world moves over to more efficient powering devices. The attempt to make fuel cells a reality in portable devices is just another step by the organization.
