LYF Wind 1 With Snapdragon 410, Android Lollipop & VoLTE Launched For Rs. 6,899

This week it is the launch of LYF Wind 1 handset that is the newest member of the entry level Wind family of smartphones. The LYF Wind 1 goes for sale with an affordable price tag of Rs. 6,899 on online as well as brick and mortar shops. The LYF Wind unlike other smartphones in this price bracket comes equipped with a better Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset instead of a cheaper MediaTek chipset. Just like its recently launched sibling, the Reliance LYF Wind 5 With VoLTE Launched: Features, Tech Specs & Price At A Glance the Wind 1 comes with USB OTG functionality.

The LYF Wind 1 sports a 5inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution IPS panel LCD display that is protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass and has a pixel density of 294ppi. Underneath the hood we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset that sports a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 306 graphics and 1GB of RAM which is entrusted with the task of running Android 5.1 (Lollipop). The LYF Wind 1 smartphone has an internal memory of 16GB and it allows you to expand that storage to up to 64GB with the help of microSD cards.

Just like every other LYF smartphone, the LYF Wind 1 is a dual-SIM VoLTE enabled handset that can help you make HD voice calls over any LTE network you want. On the camera front we have an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The cameras feature enhancements like Face detection, touch focus, HDR, panorama and geo-tagging. The LYF Wind 1 is powered by a 2300mAh Lithium-ion battery that is claimed to offer 6 hours of talk time and up to 460 hours of standby. Connectivity options on the LYF Wind 1 are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and USB OTG. The sensors found on the smartphone are G-sensor, Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and e-compass.
