LG V30+ With OLED Full Vision Display Arrives In India As Amazon Exclusive For Rs. 44,990

When it comes to LG Electronics it knows a thing or two about making a premium smartphone. Its newest offering which was expected to launch this week has made landfall in India via Amazon. The LG V30+ has been launched today and it is already up for pre-order on Amazon India. The LG V30+ is going to retail for Rs. 44,990 but when you look at its features it justifies the premium price tag. The LG V30+ is the first smartphone from LG Electronics to feature an OLED display which is just as vibrant as an OLED TV from LG. The display is also a FullVision one, which is LG’s way of saying they have done away with bezels. The 6inch OLED panel has an 18:9 resolution, a QuadHD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) resolution and a pixel density of 538ppi which is much more than Apple Retina display benchmark. Since there is chance that you might break the edge to edge display, LG has added a onetime screen replacement offer which is valid for a year from purchase.

Underneath the hood, the LG V30+ is powered by the chipset you expect, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which houses an octa-core setup of two quad-core CPUs running at 2.45GHz and 1.9GHz respectively. Unlike the OnePlus 5T you have to make do with 4GB of RAM but we expect that to enough to run Android Nougat (7.1.2). The internal memory of the LG V30+ stands at 128GB and since it is going to be enough storage, LG has not included a microSD card slot. When it comes to cameras, LG has done what every other flagship smartphone is expected to offer, dual camera setup. You have a 13MP normal and 13MP wide angle camera on the rear with f/1.6 aperture. You can create professional videos with the rear cameras using the Cine Video Mode and Point Zoom features. On the front sadly you have to make do with a 5MP wide angle lens.

If you want a more personal audio experience the LG V30+ has Sound Presets and Digital Filters for you to play with. You can dock Floating Bars with the apps and contacts of your choice. You can unlock the LG V30+ with face and voice recognition but it is not as sophisticated as the iPhone X. The LG V30+ is also one of the few smartphones in the market to support Google Daydream VR feature. The LG V30+ is IP68 certified which makes it dust and water resistant.
