LG Optimus L5 Launches Globally; Coming To Europe First

After the launch of #-Link-Snipped-#  in May, now LG has announced the release of its ever-stylish LG Optimus L5, the L-Series smartphone, famous for its high trendy value and elegant design. Along with the smartphone being run on Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS, users are going to love the 9.5mm slim body and the much needed dual SIM capability (available in Asia, CIS, Middle East, Central and South America only).

Optimus L5 has a 4 inch touch screen display and a 5.0 mp rear camera. For those from Europe and North America who need to use mobile commerce and the peer-to-peer sharing facility, L5 has NFC “Tag & Play”. Along with all that, LG is also boasting a new User Experience (UX) with QuickMemoTM that is allowing users the ability to instantly take memos or notes from any screen without having to open a separate application. The availability will being in the U.K., Germany and France first and it will be followed by markets in CIS, Middle East and Asia before crossing the ocean over to Central America and South America.

SEOUL, June 17, 2012 – The LG Optimus L5, one of LG's stylish, high fashion L-Series smartphones, will make its global debut in key European markets this month. The device will be available in the U.K., Germany and France, followed by markets in CIS, Middle East and Asia before crossing the ocean over to Central America and South America.
