Let's Build The Best Gaming Computer Possible With Current Hardware

Let's face it - we engineers love to play computer games and the perpetual question that haunts each one of us is the best possible computer that can be built by using the currently available hardware in the market. Now, at this stage, we won't consider the price. Our focus would solely be on -

1. The Best Hardware Available Out There Anywhere In The World.
2. Compatibility - because our ultimate hardware should pass the smoke test

Let's start with the choice of operating system; which I believe might just settle on Windows 7 Ultimate (by the way, I'm yet to test Windows 8). So Windows 8 is an option too; but it should work without problems on the hardware we're planning to use for this activity.

The discussion would comprise of all the components of a PC - starting with SMPS to Cabinet and GPU + CPU combo.

Get started - suggest the best available in the market. ๐Ÿ‘

Okay, forgot to add one thing - we shouldn't overclock the hardware. Although that'd be even more fun ๐Ÿ˜

Just checking whether they've a more capable processor on the Workstation side. What about AMD?

In AMD, there's a 16-Core Processor, but the problem is that it gets heated up too easily!!! ๐Ÿ˜”

I thinking finding compatible items is going to be the real challenge. NVIDIA should sync better with Intel; in my opinion. Heating shouldn't be a problem right? We can put up water cooling mechanisms.
