Lephone W7 launched in India with 4G VoLTE and 22 regional languages support for Rs.4,599

India is a lucrative smartphone market and that is why even smaller Chinese brands are entering the market. Last month it was #-Link-Snipped-# and this month it’s Lephone. Lephone is a rather unheard smartphone maker that entered into the Chinese market back in 2005. The Lephone has now arrived in Indian shores with its first offering the W7. The Lephone W7 was launched yesterday and its USP is that it offers support for 22 regional languages such as Hindi, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujrati, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi, Tamil, Nepali, Bodo, Telugu, Urdu, Sindhi, Oriya, Sanskrit, Kashmiri, Dogri, Maithili, Santhali, Konkani and Manipuri. At Rs. 4599 it is also one of the cheaper smartphones to offer 4G VoLTE.

The Lephone W7 starts off strong with a 5inch FWVGA resolution display that is sadly devoid of any protective glass covering. The LephoneW7 runs Android Marshmallow with the help of a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The LephoneW7 has an internal memory of 8GB and a microSD card slot has been duly included to take care of memory expansion. The LephoneW7 fares much better when it comes to cameras. It has a 5MP LED flash equipped camera on the rear and a 2MP camera on the front.

The LephoneW7 is a dual-SIM enabled smartphone that supports 4G VoLTE. The LephoneW7 comes preloaded with 360 Security and 360 Clone. The latter helps you create app clones which let you run two accounts of apps like Facebook and WhatsApp on a single device. The LephoneW7 comes in three colour variants, Bold Black, Classy Gold and Milky White.
