Lenovo Vibe K5: Snapdragon 415, Android Lollipop and Amazon Exclusive For Rs. 6,999

Lenovo is back into the Indian market with its newest smartphone the Vibe K5. The Lenovo Vibe K5 saw a launch at the Mobile World Congress this year and has managed to arrive at Indian shores quite quickly. The Lenovo Vibe K5 has been priced attractively at Rs. 6,999 and shall go on sale exclusively on Amazon India website. The Lenovo Vibe K5 will go on its flash sale on June 22nd. Registrations for the flash sale have begun on Amazon from today since 1pm. You will need to register with your Amazon login credentials to be able to buy the smartphone when it goes on sale.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 sports a 5inch 720p HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution display which has a pixel density of 294ppi. The display on the Lenovo Vibe K5 isn’t protected by any branded glass. The display has a brightness of 450nits and 178 degree viewing angles. The Lenovo Vibe K5 has been built out of aviation grade aluminium alloy and will be sold in silver, grey and gold colour variants. Underneath the hood, the Lenovo Vibe K5 packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 chipset that houses a 64-bit 1.4GHz octa-core processor, Adreno 405 graphics and 2GB of RAM which is entrusted with the task of running Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

The Lenovo Vibe K5 supports TheaterMax technology from Lenovo which means it can work with the #-Link-Snipped-# headset that can be bought separately for Rs. 1,299. The Lenovo Vibe K5 has an internal memory of 16GB and you can use microSD cards of up to 64GB to expand that storage. The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a front 5MP shooter. The Lenovo Vibe K5 like all smartphones from the company features Dolby Atmos and dual speakers. The Lenovo Vibe K5 is a dual SIM smartphone supports 4G, Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth connectivity. The Lenovo Vibe K5 measures 142 x 71 x 7.99 mm and weighs 142 grams.
