Earlier this month, the Indian mobile manufacturer Lava launched Iris Fuel 60 with a whooping 4000mAh battery and now the company has launched a new entry-level smartphone Iris 310 Style. The smartphone is listed on the company’s website at INR 3,749 but is available through online retailers like Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal at a price as low as Rs. 3,049. This dual-SIM phone happens to be the successor of Iris 310 which was discontinued by the company not too long ago.

Speaking about the specifications, the smartphone features a 3.5-inch (320x480 resolution) display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by 1.3GHz dual core MediaTek (MT6571) processor along with a mere 256 MB of RAM, Mail 400 MP GPU and 2GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB via microSD card. The device sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, burst captures and a 0.3 MP front camera with no HD recording. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB 2.0, FM, GPRS and WiFi. It packs a 1400mAh battery which delivers around 11 hours on talk time and 290 hours on standby and is available in brown, black, blue and white colors.

Going by the specifications and the price, the smartphone will fight with other entry-level smartphones like iBall Andi4 Arc and many more being continuously launched in the Indian market. Let us know your views on this new smartphone from Lava. Share with us in comments.
