JBL OnBeat Xtreme Adds New Style To Your Listening Space

Welcome the new entrant to the iPhone/iPod/iPad dock world, the new JBL OnBeat Xtreme is a pocket-sized powerhouse with a new sportier feel, packed with high-end audio performance. This device has a very eye-catching unique design that looks like the alphabet X when viewed from top. The dock which holds the audio device has a planar and perfect fit design to hold the iPad/iPod/iPhone better and less prone to accidental falls. It’s a well-built matte-black colored device with essence of silver on its body that adds reason to its classy looks.

In addition to the style which it owns, the OnBeat Xtreme plays your music wirelessly through Bluetooth technology. After several tests, it was found that the device managed to play music wirelessly without any hiccups or distortion.  It is very surprising to know that the device even plays music ultra smoothly after being 80 feet away from the iDevices. JBL also offers USB input, aux in/out with the device with some video connectivity options.

The JBL OnBeat Xtreme features control buttons on the dock body and also comes with a remote control device with all basic navigations and playback operations. However a weak point was observed during some tests which reflected noticeable lag in the devices responding to the press of a button.

Nevertheless, the device’s unlimited entertainment options would never let you feel the lag. The expected price for India is around Rs. 25,000 which is a true value for money device. Of course it is expensive but people would find it worth purchasing.
