Japan Display brings a combination of WhiteMagic, Pixel Eyes and IPS-NEO technology to its displays while keeping the thickness to just 1mm. WhiteMagic makes sure it is easy for you to see the display in outdoors sunlight and that you get to extend battery life. It achieves this by  supplementing the RGB pixels with white pixels. So, you get to see bright images on screen even if the backlight is turned off and you save power. The Pixel Eyes technology integrates the capacitive touch-panel with the actual display. So we have thinner, yet more touch sensitive displays. Lastly, there is the new IPS-NEO technology for improved viewing angles and better contrast.

Japan Display to bring these smartphone and tablet displays into mass production by next year. Do check out a video from DigInfo to take a look at these displays -
