Jaguar Revs-Up World's Most Powerful And Fastest Sedan XFR-S!

Taking the sportiness of the sedan to a whole new high, Jaguar introduced the ultra high-performing XFR-S at the 2012 LA Auto Show. With tasteful enhancements at the heart, like a 5.0L V8 engine living up to 550HP, the XFR-S claimed the 'fastest' tag pretty easily (the sedan runs 100km/h in 4.6 seconds).
The V8 engine hugs an eight-speed Quickshift transmission, and the lateral suspension stiffness has been upped by 30% for better responsive steering. Wide Pirelli tires envelope the 20-inch forged alloy Varuna wheels, rendering better grip and more stability. Going in tune with the improved engine, stiffened suspension and broader tires, the active electronic differential was needfully re-calibrated. Modifications were even made to the Dynamic Stability Control settings to further better the driving experience. The increased performance won't affect the fuel consumption or the emissions in any way, states Jaguar.

As for the sedan's body, the front was beefed up with aerodynamic enhancements that aggressively cuts trough the air. Jaguar claims that there's 68% decrease in the lift owing to the modifications- carbon fiber front splitter and a rear diffuser, bigger front bumper intakes, a trunk lid spoiler, plus aero-blades equipped on the sides.
Just a 100 of these muscled beauties shall be available in the US. Priced over US$99,000, the car could be had from early 2013 in five colors: French Racing Blue, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Polaris White and Italian Racing Red.
