InFocus M2 Smartphone Available on Snapdeal At Rs 4,999- Specs And Features At Glance

Many firms are making a beeline to tap into the huge mobile market of high-quality and affordable smart devices in India. InFocus, a US-based company, is also following this trend and has launched its first Android smartphone called ‘InFocus M2’ in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 4,999, the new pocket-friendly dual SIM (both micro SIM) handset is available exclusively in two colours- black and white for purchase on E-commerce site- Snapdeal. The most impressive and eye-catching feature of this stylish M2 smartphone is that it has dual 8 MP front and rear camera. Owing to the facial recognition software, the users can also click touch-free selfies.

InFocus M2 is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core Mediatek processor and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system with InLife UI in order to deliver better mobile experience to the users. The 10.6 cm (4.2 inch) HD LTPS LCD display with 355 ppi renders screen resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels for crystal clear view of high-quality images and videos. The multi-touch screen also comes with high brightness panel along with ambient sensors. These features allows the users to view the screen properly in day light as well as in low light conditions. The storage includes 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. InFocus M2 with matte ceramic finish measures 135 x 64.5 x 11.1 mm and weighs 145 g. It packs 2,010 mAh Li-Ion battery that offers talk time up to 280 hours and standby time of about 480 hours. There is no word on Lollipop update yet.

Coming to the camera, both the 8 MP front and rear camera has LED flash support. Other camera features includes exposure compensation, scene setting, beauty shot, continuous shots, white balance, and photo enhancer. The video recording with 720 x 480 pixels, 1280 x 720 pixels or 1920 x 1080 pixels takes place at 30 fps. Moreover, the connectivity consists of GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors such as Ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, G-sensor and Gyroscope along with pre-loaded apps like Google Services, email and document viewer, Meitu BeautyCam ,Dropbox, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter et al are also provided by InFocus.
