Powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor that’s coupled with 1 GB of RAM it comes with a 8 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card (upto 32GB). The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat backed up by a battery support of 2300 mAh. It further supports a standby time of 300 hours and talktime of upto 10 hours. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

In Optics department, Karbonn K9 Kavach houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, face detection, touch-focus and flash. On the front there is a provision for 5-megapixel snapper for selfies using the finger touch-sensor. The smartphone device would be available in the three variants of Coffee Brown, Champagne and Black colors and would retail in the country starting this week via online and offline channels.
