IES 2018 - Exam Date | Admit Card | Exam Pattern | Age Limit | Important Dates | Syllabus

Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts the Engineering Services Exam or ESE 2018 is an entrance exam for graduates who wish to work under the Government of India in the sectors of Power, Telecommunications, Railroads, Public works etc.

The examination consists of a written examination followed by an interview for personality test.

Date of Commencement of Examination - 07/01/2018
Duration of Examination -
One Day
Last Date for Receipt of Applications - 23/10/2017 - 6:00pm
Date of Upload - 27/09/2017

So the date is nearing guys! 23rd January is the exam date.

Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:
Category I ‐ Civil Engineering.
Category II ‐ Mechanical Engineering.
Category III ‐ Electrical Engineering.
Category IV ‐ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

IES 2018 Age Limit Eligibility:

(a) A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1997.

IES 2018 Admit Card:

Candidates who registered successfully for IES 2018 can download their IES Admit Card 2018 in December 2017 online at the official website - www.upsc.gov.in

    In the IES ESE Prelims, there are 2 papers, both objective type.
    In the IES ESE Mains, there are 2 papers, both conventional (descriptive answers) type, each of 300 marks each.
