iBooks2, Textbooks And iBooks Author Announced; We Are Not Surprised

Apple has come up with this all new concept, which potentially recreates the textbooks being studied at present. All those using iPads can enjoy this experience, once the iBooks have been reworked upon. Textbooks, which shall not only incorporate easy movability but also influential features offering a completely different level of participation to students over K-12 have been announced. Also, authors are now creatively independent to present the books in their own style, with all the animation stuff added to the conventional graphics and text.

The awesome future of ebooks lies with the iBooks 2, which was made available today. These informative ebooks, especially tailor-made for the students, will be featured in iBooks2 under Textbooks heading. This part of iBookstore will have all high school level books, and shall be priced around $14.99. Talks are on among Apple and big guns like Tata McGraw Hill, Pearson, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, to create cheap cheaper and more easily obtained content. Books shall be updated at regular intervals, and students get to own them forever.

Also, Apple is toying with the concept of iBooks Author, rendering ordinary people like you and me the tools to produce e-books. This shall be made available for the Mac today onwards. Simple layout and a  simple creation procedure lets users create attractive e-books. iBooks Author is free. Best part is, it supports  HTML5 too. While the concept is designed keeping a layman in mind, even the programmer-geek types can apply their codes into e-books. Created e-books can be initially previewed on iPad, and then can be directly released at iBookstore.
