Hyperloop- Elon musk 's proposal of next gen transport system getting into reality

Elon Musk's next generation transportation is on its way to real world with its successful trial of technology last week.
Today an article describing the updated features and cost analysis of
hyperloop in TOI . It reminded me the article in crazyengineers. So
sharing whats given in TOI.
"
* Passengers will be carried in pods / Capsules on overland tubes.
*Air pressure inside tube to be just 9% of normal sea level pressure.
Air resistance is one of the two biggest factors which affect speed on
any object in earth. The other factor was gravity/ground resistance.
*Pods nose to have compressor fans to transfer air from front to rear
and power the air cushion that suspends the pod.
*pods powered by external electric motor (the kind used in tesla)
placed at less than 1% of tube length.
*Tube to rest on pylons which will be quake resistant.
*will work best for high traffic jnter city transport to upto 1500km.
*solar panel on top of tube to generate more power than the project needs.
*pods pulled along through air suspension.
Pricing and distance covered:
1) Sanfaransisco to los angels- 605km
2)Speed that can be achieved-480km/hr(near stations) & 1120km/hr
(while coasting)
ticket price-20${Rs.1340}
Advantages>Safer,faster,cheaper,faster to built,more convinient,immune
to whether,self powering."
