Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus with Android 7.0 Nougat, 4000 mAh battery unveiled in China

Huawei has reportedly launched mid-tier Enjoy 7 Plus in China at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 15,000). The device recently spotted on China Telecom E-Surfing site, sports a metallic back with fingerprint scanner. It is also seen to feature a bigger display- 5.5 -inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) screen which is an up gradation over its predecessors- Enjoy 5 and Enjoy 6 (5” displays).

The device mimics the 4000 mAh battery backup of Enjoy 5, (100mAh less than the Enjoy 6 battery size) and packs a Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. On offer is also 32 GB of inbuilt storage further expandable via a microSD card slot. An added feature of fingerprint reader is provided below the camera on the back.

On optics front, the smartphone houses a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video chats. The images leaked online reveal the power and volume buttons positioned on the right edge, while two speaker grilles and a Micro USB port is stationed on the bottom edge of the device. The 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top edge of the device, and there are no capacitive keys or a physical Home Button on the front.

Huawei seems to have jumped directly to the Plus edition of the Enjoy 7 series skipping the launch of non-plus Enjoy 7. The device meanwhile is unveiled only for the Chinese markets and there is no official word yet regarding its launch for the international markets. Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had recently unveiled Honor 6C and Honor 8 Pro smartphone devices.
