HTC Reveals Tech Specs Of Its New Mango Handsets

HTC has declared two new Windows Phone 7 Mango devices, thus beating Nokia in the "Mango" race. The two devices named Titan and Radar offer some tidy developments as far as hardware is concerned. They are expected to launch this October, but their prices are not revealed yet.

The Titan is going to rule the HTC WP7 family with its prominent 4.7" display, 1.5GHz processor and 16GB of internal storage. It is equipped a front-facing camera, with a 1.3mp resolution, as well as a rear-facing 8mp camera that can record 720p HD video. The screen size may be huge but it's just 9.9mm thick at its thinnest point. Weighing just 160g , it will be powered by a 1600mAh battery. The next member in line is the HTC Radar with a 3.8" display, 1.5GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. It too will be equipped with front and rear-faced cameras- 5mp rear and 0.3mp front. It has a 8 GB internal storage capacity, and will be powered by a 1520mAh battery.

Some other similar tech specs let in a variety of connectivity options - HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11n with DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth v2.1, plus a 3.5mm audio jack. The astonishing thing is, of both the devices, it’s the Radar that comes with a document editor and a document viewer, whereas Titan has to remain satisfied with just a document viewer. So it's better that you set your priorities before cashing in on the above phones, the upgrade doesn't come to much if you already own a phone belonging to the HTC WP7 family.
