HTC BlinkFeed, Sense TV & Service Pack Apps Now On Google Play Store

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC is in the news yet again for the new flagship - HTC One (M8), which is creating a lot of buzz in the tech world lately. With the launch of HTC Sense 6 apps on Google Play Store this morning, HTC has released three applications- HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Sense TV and HTC Service Pack. Earlier, Google released their 'Google now launcher' on Play Store for Nexus devices. Assuming, HTC is walking on the footsteps of Google by introducing their BlinkFeed launcher on Google Play Store. The BlinkFeed launcher gives user an experience of HTC’s default home launcher. It actually gives a magazine like UI to the home screen of our android smartphone. Features of this new launcher are - calendar updates, social media and news updates on home screen itself and offline reading mode helps to save data.

HTC Service Pack is kind of backend stuff. According to the description of this app on Play Store, the HTC Service Pack is a support service update that improves your HTC experience.

HTC Sense TV has bought new and interesting features. Sense TV got a new and improved UI. You can explore secondary content of TV shows you like; you’ll get a short description about the show and information about cast and crew. In addition to this, social media updates of those TV shows will also be on display. For sports addicts, Sense TV will provide live scores of sports of your choice and statistics too.

Similar to Sony and Motorola, HTC is also trying to improving HTC phone’s experience by providing updates over Play Store, instead of OTA updates. All of these three applications are showing “your device is incompatible for this app” for all android phones, even for HTC One (M7). But, Sense TV is available for HTC One Google Play Edition. We hope that they’ll fix this issue and provide those apps for all android devices. How many of you want to experience the new HTC UI on your android device? Share your opinion through your comments.
