How BIOS is activated?

Hello friends,

Can a PC have more than one BIOS.

When we start up PC how the BIOS is activated?
Is it activated by others or itself.

    Can a PC have more than one BIOS.
    That's a nice question. Waiting for CEans to answer.

    When we start up PC how the BIOS is activated?
    Is it activated by others or itself.
    When we press the power button, I guess, BIOS is the first to start.

    BIOS is the combination of Software and Hardware.It is the inteface between the Hardware and the operating system.

    The main hardware component of the system BIOS is the system BIOS ROM itself which is located int he EEPROM(Electrically -Erasable programmed ROM).

    The BIOS itself is a software running in memory that consists of all the various drivers that interface the hardware to the operating system.

    I think BIOS is itself a software and a packet of hardware.

    Correct me if i am wrong.
