Google Puts Google Play In The Navigation Bar

Looks like Google is quite serious about its online store Google Play. Two weeks earlier when Google announced the new online source for movies, apps, e-books, music etc. named Google Play, they were not in the mood of just playing around. Today, the giant took a step ahead and added a new link on its toolbar dedicated to Google Play. And in case, nobody misses it, they are flashing it with subscript “new”.

Earlier this month Google re-launched its Android market naming it Google Play. The main aim behind Google Play was to make content available for everyone, not just Android users. And by pushing the link into navigation bar Google has made it easier for everyone to access the store. You click the link and you are in the Google Play store, where you can buy apps, books, book tickets etc. Currently movies are available only for rental at the store, but reportedly there are plans to sell them too. Google Music and Google Books are also a part of the store, so you don’t need to go in the “more” section of the navigation bar to search for books.
Google Play will provide different services in different countries as in US it will be offering Apps, Books, Movies and Music. No music services will be available in Canada and UK. In Australia only Apps and Books are available while in Japan they have Apps and Movies. In the rest of the countries only Google Apps will be available. Since the launch of Google navigation bar, it has been a good way for the company to promote its products. They already have a lot of service rounded up there and now Google Play has been put conveniently between Google Maps and You Tube, two of the most used Google services. Google is trying hard to keep the users engaged and we are just happy that we are getting new and exciting products!
