Google Contributor - Would You Pay $2 or $3 Per Month For Ad-Free Experience?

Google survives on online advertisements and so do a number of publishers who rely on Google's Adsense program for revenues. However, not everyone likes advertisements and there seems to be no way to escape them. Google's come up with a solution to fix the problem via new initiative called Google Contributor. Basically, those who want ad-free experience can choose to pay $2 or $3 to the content creators (owners of the website).

The website owners can then scrap all the advertisements from their sites for the users who are a part of Google Contributor project. Google's got few big names to try this new program.

Curious to know - would you pay $2 or $3 per month to access websites in completely ad-free environment? Which websites would you like to be ad-free?

Christmas is coming. Steam sales are coming. I would rather save it for few Indie games or AAA games like Borderlands 2 and The Witcher 2 or donate it to some opensource project (Like Numix, elementaryOS, EvolveOS) rather than wasting it here.
