Gmail's New Look - Better Search, HD Themes & Streamlined Conversations

Just open up your Google account and look what is #-Link-Snipped-#? Perhaps it is a small blue rectangle suggesting you to try the new look, also accompanied with written suggestion box from the users. Now the color of that rectangle may change according to the theme that you have selected, most importantly many people are doubtful of switching over to the newer version, thinking about the convenient features of old look.

#-Link-Snipped-#

The changes that #-Link-Snipped-# has incorporated are not totally unexpected and there was always some amount of guesswork going on as the company was changing for keeping up with the businesses like Facebook and Twitter even in looks. The Internet giant had released a video in this regard this October.

Now the feature for which #-Link-Snipped-# is famous; the search feature has undergone a few change. You can access this feature from the drop down of the search bar. With the new design we do not think that there will be any change in loading time of page which is quite evident with commonly seen website pages. However the changes are welcome.

Looking at the changes, the company has mainly focused on user ease. The main areas of changes had been the tool bar options, search features, usage of labels and most importantly the way you read your emails. Moreover the new interface also looks sleek. The changes are yet not completely finalized and Google is asking for suggestions. Moreover, let us wait if we can see any additions in Google+ If you have any problem or have some good idea, do write it and send it to them. Do not forget the small rectangle on bottom right of your screen!
