Fujifilm X-T10 Interchangeable Lens Camera - Everything You Want To Know

Japan-based manufacturer, Fujifilm Corp. has upgraded its flagship X-series digital camera line by unveiling its new interchangeable lens camera called ‘Fujifilm X-T10’ for photography enthusiasts. The lightweight camera will be available in the market from June in two colours- silver and black. Except price, size, weight and couple of features, the X-T10 is nearly indistinguishable from its predecessor Fujifilm X-T1. In other words, we can say that the new compact camera is the mini-version of Fujifilm X-T1 at lower price.

X-T10 features APS-C 16.3 megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor (like X-T1) and the processing output is handled by an image processor called EXR Processor II for delivering fine image quality and high speed performance. The new AF system renders 77-point area for taking images moving subjects during new Zone (with 3x3, 5x3 or 5x5 zone options) and Wide/Tracking modes. It also offers the standard 49-point Single Point mode for focusing. When the camera is set to AF-C, it can continuously shoot up to 8.0 fps (frames per second). On the rear side of the camera, there is a 3 inch LCD monitor that has resolution of 920K dots.

During Interval Shooting mode, the camera captures up to 999 successive frames automatically at intervals ranging from one second to 24 hours. X-T10 can shoot Full HD (1080p) videos at up to 60 fps. 50fps, 30fps, 25fps and 24fps options are also present for recording. X-T10’s Real Time Viewfinder that features 2.36 million-dot display and 0.62x magnification ratio. The company claims that the Real Time Viewfinder has the world's shortest time lag of 0.005 seconds. The magnesium top and base plates are light in weight and the top plate consists of 3 precision-milled aluminum dial for tuning the combination of aperture, shutter speed and shooting functions.

There are 10 modes with color reversal film effects such as (VELVIA/PROVIA/ASTIA), professional color negative film (PRO Neg.Std / PRO Neg.Hi) in addition to monochrome filters (MONOCHROME, Ye filter, R filter and G filter) and SEPIA effects that are applied to the images. It also features the latest CLASSIC CHROME Film Simulation mode that provides muted tones and deep colors. By using Wi-Fi and free FUJIFILM Camera Remote app, users can share files with synced smart devices, Geotag the images and can wirelessly backup of the data to a computer. X-T10 measures 118.4 x 82.8 x 40.8 mm and weighs 381 g (13.4 oz).
