Flipkart Exclusive - Panasonic Eluga Ray Series with Arbo AI assistant is now on sale at Rs. 8,499

Flipkart, on Monday, announced the sale of Panasonic Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X smartphone via its official website and app. Both these smartphones feature the new Virtual Assistant Arbo which is a machine learning enabled AI whose job is to adapt to the user's preference to provide valuable suggestions. Apart from the AI, the phone also includes several new features such as a combined fingerprint sensor + home button and a longer battery life. The Eluga Ray X is available at a price of Rs 8,499 while Eluga Ray Max comes at a price starting from Rs 11,499.


Panasonic Eluga Ray X hosts a 5.5 inch long HD screen which has a 2.5 TP curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a dimension of 153.4 mm x 77 mm x 10.5 mm and weighs about 193 gm. The phone comes in two colors namely - Space Gray and Rose Gold of which both the variants are equally stunning. It has a 1.2 GHz MTK MT6737 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The device also has a 32 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64 GB on microSD.

A 13 MP shooter primary camera and a 5MP front camera is also present which helps in capturing clear images and selfies. Sensors present on this device ranges from Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Magnetometer Sensor and Hall Sensor. The phone has a 4G VoLTE support and features dual SIM slot. Apart from that, the phone also has built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering connectivity features as well. The device is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with no quick charging support.


Panasonic Eluga Ray Max, on the other hand, has a 5.2 inch full HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a dimension of 148 mm x 73 mm x 9.5 mm and weighs roughly around 165gm. The device comes in three color variants namely - Gold, Rose Gold, and Space Grey and all of them are now available for sale on Flipkart. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8937 Octa Core processor which beats at a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. It is well complemented by Adreno 505 GPU which takes care of the gaming and other multitasking activities.

The device has a 4 GB RAM and comes in two memory variants - one with 32 GB and other with 64 GB of internal memory which has an expandable memory support of up to 128 GB on microSD. Connectivity features and inbuilt sensors are pretty same to that of the Eluga Ray X, however, it has advanced optics and photo capturing capabilities as it comes with a 16 MP primary + 8 MP front selfie camera. Though it has a lesser battery life of 3000 mAh compared to Eluga Ray X smartphone, the presence of Quick charge 3.0 support completely overshadows it.
