Facebook NYC Engineering Office By 2012. Yes, You May Apply!

To maintain the required pace with which Facebook is growing, the social networking giant has made a declaration of starting up a office in New York by 2012. This is the first office which has been planned outside the West Coast. Applications will be entertained as soon as the office comes to the fore.

More than 800 million users are now using Facebook for most of their social networking, and with all the new innovations and changes that have to be made catering to the needs of all the users require a set of talented creative engineers, and New York does provide a pool of talent that serves their purpose.  Mike Schroepfer, Facebook's Vice President of Engineering is all set to use this talent and design the next genesis of Facebook. Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's Chief Operating Officer stated that opting for an office outside the West Coast is itself a huge step, and acknowledged all the elected leaders who helped them in creating this technological climate which will assist in economic growth by generating some highly skilled jobs.
