Facebook Likes Show Up In Real Time On Clothes Racks. Speeds Up Your Shopping!

Engineers and Fashion are two disjoint sets. We engineers totally suck at choosing the right attire for ourselves and often rely on what other people recommend. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could know what people are recommending online so that our buying decisions are easier? C&A - the fashion retailer's Brazilian arm has done a fantastic job of integrating #-Link-Snipped-# likes with the clothes racks in their stores. The system accepts the likes on each of the clothing item through its official Facebook page and then routes them to the relevant item in their store. Thus, customers quickly know how many people have currently liked their selection. We have absolutely no idea (obviously) about how this system will influence the buying decisions of customers. But from technology point of view, we 'like' it.
