End bearing piles question

A two-storey building on a highly reactive site is founded on a grid of piles. The soil profile shows a 4m deep reactive clay horizon overlying a deep profile of dense sands. Could there be a problem with founding the piles at the top of the dense sand?

There always can be a problem when sand is involved, though I am no structural engineer. Have you replicated this scenario in a modeler program?
