Electronics:Industrial training or any course in embedded/vlsi design????
hi
am a delhi based 2nd year student(electrical & electronics engg.).i wanna do summer training this year.i searched a lot on net and found a no. of organisations who provide training on numerous fields like embedded, vlsi etc.some of these are seemed to be good while some others are seemed to be just an another way to earn money.on the other hand some of my senior friends suggest to have some industrial experience with some electronics company(as my interest is in electronics) while some other says that there is not much exposure to instruments/products for us in any industry and thus i should join a course.m really very confusedππππ
1.neither i know any industry providing good exposure to products nor i know any good institute to do training on particular subject on paid basis.........
2.i also think that courses like embedded/vlsi are vast and not suitable for a small period like 2months and also require a deep knowledge in electronics which i don't have at now.
Please give your suggestions on above two points.....what to do and what not???
thanks in advance....π

chetan mehrahi dear,
see first of all do not underestimate yourself,if you have a little bit knowledge about digital electronics and a rough idea about C programming you are surely eligible for embedded systems, yes it is true that it takes a long time to master over it,but a little bit hard work will help you to cope up with it..as you said that you are a second year student,SO DUDE it is a good time to develope some skills regarding microcontrollers..because they are the building blocks of the embedded systems..
there are some good institutes which provide better understandings regarding microcontrollers, you can go there..i also did a course on microcontroller last year from the okhla based institute, named EFY..
when you will have a good understanding about controllers then you can go for the embedded systems... -

Harish SarmaDear Friend ,
Its better to have industrial training which will be very usefull because it will give us the basics.Being EEE student I first went for a Thermal Power Plant and now I am also thinking to go to an Electronic Industry this summer -
Harish SarmaCircuit Designing :
i am pursuing BE EEE 2nd year.I want to undergo training in circuit designing. Are there any institutes in Chennai or Andhra offering courses?? Because I think this will be helpful for me.Please give me suggestions.
