Download Google Keyboard From Play Store For Your Android Device

Google Inc. is bringing interesting apps for you on Google Play Store. With the launch of Stock Android 4.2 keyboard for the devices running on Ice Cream Sandwich or above, all android users can get a taste of the smart-and-easy Nexus typing experience on their smartphone or tablet. Just #-Link-Snipped-# the Google Keyboard on Google Play, and give your phone the Gesture Typing (which lets you glide through letters to form a word, just lift your finger to enter a space), automatic error correction, word prediction and current-word completion features. You can also tap the microphone to compose messages with Voice Typing when you’re on-the-go.

If you haven't already got the SwiftKey app or TouchPal, this is a really great option for you. Google Keyboard has support for dictionaries in 26 different languages and keyboard layouts for a dozen more. And thank god, it's all for free. Switching back to the keyboard that came with your phone (or any other alternative keyboards you may have downloaded) can be done from the device's Settings page.

With the app already getting five star reviews, the app seems a successful attempt. You can download the Google Keyboard only from English speaking countries right now, but Google is going to add more countries soon. If you can’t wait for the official availability, you can grab the com.google.android.inputmethod.latin-1.0.1869.683049 right now. It seems like Google is indeed working behind-the-scenes to break different Android components out from the core of the operating system and provide them to a bigger audience in parts. So now, even if you own an Android device from Samsung, HTC, LG or others, you can try this keyboard immediately. Let us know your reviews in comments below.

The keyboard is presently not available in India for download. But staying in line with Google's promises, we can expect a roll out soon.
