Doppler Radar By NRL Can Track Individual Rain Drops

Hi-resolution and high-precision #-Link-Snipped-# #-Link-Snipped-# developed by Naval Research Laboratory is so awesome that it can track individual hydrometeors 0.5 mm in diameter (a la raindrops). The technology developed can now be used in enhancing the understanding of behavior, dynamics and structure of clouds. This could result in accurate prediction of weather.
