Current Affairs In India - Single Source For Newbies

There comes a point in the life of every young engineer, when he/she realizes - "I know so little about my surrounding." And then you start reading newspapers, surf websites and magazines, start talking to people. The Internet has become so vast and deep, a lot of young people get confused as to where to start and how to proceed from there.

As an initiative here at CrazyEngineers, let us have the first hand crowdsourced information from engineers about the current affairs in a single discussion.
We will all make it a point to share no-nonsense, unbiased news in the Indian scenario here in not more than 3-4 lines. No links please (We all know how to Google, right?)

If you are going to keep a watch on this thread, please contribute your two pennies too.
Don't argue on a topic in this discussion either. We can create separate discussions for those.

Just put in the current affairs that are relevant in the Indian context.
