hey guys,

i have started this thread in the hope of helping you to develop your strengths and work on your weaknesses and at the same time have fun.....

well with this same motto my college began these spl. classes to improve our aptitude strength leaving aside the fact we were still in our 2nd year.😔

but it was not as it was expected.....it was all fun....😁

i decided to share some of those questions we encountered with you in this thread.:smile: :smile: :smile:

53-25=28

34-x=18

on solving we get x= 16
yeah this does work out....but that is not the required logic....
ok,now i will give you the next term and now try and find the logic😀

old series is 72,53,34,25,......
the new series (after the inclusion of next term ) is
72,53,34,25,29.
now does this sound better try it .........
looking forward to the logic.😀

ya sure y not
for 7th ques

72,53,34,25,......

7^2+2^2=53
5^2+3^2=34
3^2+4^2=25
so
2^2+5^2=29

for 12th ques

25 pencils = 100 , so each pencil is Rs 4/-
15 books = 100, so each book is 100/15

Now, he has kept aside 15%, that is 15 Rs

So, he is left with 85 rs

nd den he bought 5 pencils dat cost him 20rs

nw remaining money is 85-20=65

1 book is of rs ~6.6

X = 65 * 15 / 100 = 39/4 ~ 9

with 65 rs he can buy 9 books

So, answer is none.

is it correct?

100-1=99
121-11=110
nd 110-99=11
similarly
221-100=121
121-110=11
so let next term is x
ie x-121=y
nd y-121=11
so y=132
therefore
x=132+121=253
similarly for next term
x-221=y
y-132=11
y=143
x=221+143=364

just solved the 14th one....:dance:
TIP:try using a template written in pen and try diff combos in pencil till you get it right...😉
that's how i did it.......took a whole hour to solve it.....

So the relative movement per hour will be 1 ft.
in 17 hours it climbs 17 ft.
in the 18th hour it climbs 3 ft. and reaches 20 ft.

so the answer is 18 hours.

After 50 steps you are at the end.
You turn around and run downwards with a speed of 5 steps per second.
After 125 steps you are back at the beginning of the escalator.
The escalator is moving upward with a speed of 1 step per second.

Question:

How many steps do you need if the escalator stands still?
