Coolpad Note 3 Plus: Full HD Display, Octa-Core Processor & Android Lollipop For Rs. 8999

Considering the success of the recently launched Coolpad Note 3 it was inevitable that the company would launch the successor of the smartphone in the Indian markets. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus was launched today. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus features some impressive specs considering its affordable price tag of Rs. 8999. Just like the other Coolpad smartphones in the Indian market the Coolpad Note 3 Plus shall be sold exclusively on Amazon India website from May 13th. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus starts things off surprisingly well with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display that is covered with an unnamed scratch resistant glass.

CoolPad Note 3 Plus

Underneath the hood of the Coolpad Note 3 Plus we get a MediaTek MT6753 SoC, the same famous 64-bit chipset that was seen recently on its predecessor, Gionee Marathon M5 Plus and the upcoming Yu Yureka Note YU6000. Just to reiterate the MediaTek MT6753 SoC houses a 64bit ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU operating at 1.5GHz, an ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM just like on the Micromax Canvas Pulse 4G. All this firepower runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) that has been doused in Cool UI 6.0. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus is a dual-SIM LTE enabled smartphone that features a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

When it comes to the cameras on the Coolpad Note 3 Plus we have a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The internal memory of the Coolpad Note 3 Plus stands at 16GB and you do get the option of adding microSD cards of up to 32GB in it. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB along with GPS navigation. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus measures 151.9x77x9.3mm and weighs 168grams. The smartphone will be sold in Champange White and Gold colour variants. By now you would have realised that the Coolpad Note 3 Plus is just a Coolpad Note 3 with a larger screen.
