Charge your Phone In 20 Seconds Using Super-Capacitors.
An 18-year old girl named Eesha Khare from Saratoga,California has won a $50,000 prize at ISF (International Science Fair) for creating a device (with the help of nano-technology) which can be fully juiced within 20 to 30 seconds.(Finally!)
This fast charging device is super-capacitor, a device which is capable of storing huge amount of energy in small tiny place which can be charged quickly & can hold the charge for long time.
Super-capacitor can last for 10,000 charge-recharge cycles, which is 10 times more than that of conventional batteries says Eesha.
Eesha used to hate the downtime while her cell-hpne charges, so she came up with something that could have it juiced while you go for a pee & come back.
But Can you embed it in the Phones ?
"It is so flexible that it can be used in roll-up displays & clothing & fabricIt has a lot of different applications and advantages over batteries in that sense.", Eesha replied to the question when asked.
If this Super-smart girl figured out this stuff, MNCs with even larger profit & dimes in their bank account can do as well, right ?
Finally, Battery won't be the major concern when selecting a Smartphone.
What's your take, CEans ?

Anil JainI was thinking can a larger version of this can be used for the vehicles (Car).
Specially, For Hybrid cars. If this can charge them within an minute, and last that long. It would be awesome environment friendly innovation..

Sanyam KhuranaBattery is a major problem in Smartphones, this is simply awesome, hope that it would be available commercially 😀
Indeed a great Idea 😉crazyboyI was thinking can a larger version of this can be used for the vehicles (Car).

Kaustubh KatdareSomeone try and contact her and get her on CE to talk about her innovation. That'd be really interesting, what say?

If size of Super capacitor is adjusted it is very much feasible to support a car batterycrazyboyI was thinking can a larger version of this can be used for the vehicles (Car).
