Celkon Win 400 Smartphone Featuring Windows 8.1 OS Launched - Price And Specs At Glance

Celkon is a local manufacturing company known for its involvement in the development of mobile phones, Tablet PC solutions and wireless technologies. It is also a member of Android One project and has launched quite a few android smartphones till date. But, this time Celkon did not follow the usual tradition and has launched its first windows handset called Celkon Win 400. Initially, the phone was going to be estimated to cost around Rs 6400, then the price was marked down to Rs 5274 but now it is available on the e-commerce site, Snapdeal for price as low as Rs 4774. This is welcome news for our budget-friendly smartphone users.

The dual sim smartphone is blessed with the new Windows 8.1 operating system. It is supported by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon Quad-core processor. The 4 inch capacitive touchscreen with WVGA display offers screen resolution of 480 X 800 pixels and pixel density of 233 pixels per inch. Win 400 has 4 GB internal memory with 2GB user memory, 512 MB RAM and the external memory can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. Coming to the cameras, you can capture beautiful memories with 5 MP rear camera which comes with LED flash light and geo tagging. For selfies, Win 400 is equipped with a 1.3 MP front camera.

The smartphone is powered by 1500 mAh Lithium-Ion battery which offers standby time upto 200 hours and talktime of about 5 hours. The framework of the handset has the dimensions of 125.4 X 65 X 10.3 mm. It weighs 120.56gms. Win 400 has connectivity options such as GPRS, 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and USB. Other features include GPU -Mali 400, Messaging, Browser, Radio, GPS, SNS applications, MP4/3GP/MP3/WAV/eAAC player, MP4/H.264/H.263 player, Document viewer, Photo editor, Organizer, Voice memo/dial and Predictive text input. The sensors such as G- Sensor, Proximity sensor, Light sensor and Accelerometer are also provided.
