Call Dropping To Get A Temporary Shelter Under Radio Link Technology By Telcos

While we scream in support of 21st century and its advancements, we must not forget that to emerge as one of the greatest nations in terms of technology and communication, India has to go a long way to resolve all burning issues and revamp the poor old-school infrastructure. Lack of congruent effort and management has affected engineering and all of that has ill-connected the communities. Well known telecom service providers (govt. aided) were tagged as faulty due to their habit of compromising with the quality and service. Thanks to the newest “Digital India” movement; some of that have got resolved and some are stacked in the queue to take a plunge in the “rejuvenation pond”.

However, even after constant privatization and new schemes, India faces connectivity issues. Especially in rural areas, the development has got a sloppy nature due to which large sectors are out of network, tower, facilities or even any such idea. But now, according to PTI reports, Telcos has come up with a new technology which will never let a phone call get cut due to poor network coverage until the dialer/receiver intentionally lets go of the call. What does that mean? Apparently, it suggests that villages and cities will go through some technological revolution but it is far more tedious than that.

Source claims, Telecom operators are now up to devising a radio-link technology which will let your phone get connected to a particular call even if the person on the other end is receiving no input at all. Suppose; you have called someone who suddenly enters a dead zone (no connectivity area). Previously, after a second or two, the call used to get disconnected and you already could have gotten a prior hint that the person has just got inside an unreachable category. Referencing to telecommunication, the call has got dropped. This used to be the case prior to the upcoming technology which puts a mask on this call dropping feature.

Telecom providers would certainly incorporate a system which would actually not let you know whether you or the other party have got some trouble with the network or not as you both would stay connected even though no exchange of meaningful sounds will take place. An utterly amusing system indeed, but how far will this take us is completely up to Govt. hands. More funny, until and unless one party terminates the call, the dialer would be charged for the span for which he couldn’t stay connected. As it would literally stand valid, the dialer has to be the sufferer.
