Boardman Redesigns Female Specific Bikes

With a growing and justified reasons by female athletes about the racing bikes, market forces are trying to design Female specific bikes to suit female body. Boardman's usual White colored bicycles #-Link-Snipped-# that are designed for a high strength to weight ratio.

Boardman modifies female specific bikes.

The new female range features the modifications done in the company's unisex team carbon range which also falls under the same price tag. The up gradation shows that a higher grade carbon fiber is being implemented in the new range bikes. The model which is around features Shimano 105 2x10-speed gears along with Mavic Aksium wheels which makes rider feel comfortable. The FSA Gossamer Pro 50/34 chain set makes it really suitable for athletes.

Although the cycles feature the normal white with a little pink color, the real reason for the cycle being female oriented is the above mentioned design. To speak technically, it is difficult for average height females say 5'3" to 5'4" to feel easy on a racing bike. Moreover, it is the same case with same height women but with longer legs than the remaining torso.

The new range though not being ideally made for every girl, it has of course simplified the matters with respect to many of the men specific bikes. As far as looks are concerned, the appearance is still the same but there will be a major revamp with the carbon model while the company brings it commercially in to market to bring it at par with the men type bikes.

The Technical specifications for all the four models are as follows:
