BlackBerry launches Priv Android phone for Rs. 62,990.

After launching in almost all other major countries , BlackBerry's finally decided to launch their latest Smartphone - #-Link-Snipped-# - in India. The smartphone , announced in Sep 25, 2015, is an Android based (Android 5.1.1 Lollipop) full QWERTY smartphone that is secured by BlackBerry's DTEK security suit.

s per Blackberry fan site Crackberry, Priv BlackBerry Priv makes its official debut in India | CrackBerry from January 30, 2016.

What makes Priv different from other Android phones? According to BlackBerry's website :-

  • The traditional Blackberry QWERTY keyboard (Slider) that can be doubled up as a touch pad too.
  • Excellent predictive text capability ( the user can 'flick up' the words), with keyboard shortcuts those can be customised.
  • Hardened security features reinforced with BlackBerry's own security suit.
