Biologically Strengthening Soldiers. Are We Creating Something More Than A Mortal?

Too much of advancements have already embraced the ones on the battlefield, but seems like flesh and blood demand more. Substances used to enhance performance -stuffs like drugs and steroids- are a thing of the past, what we are talking about here is engineering a soldier to endure all the pain inflicted upon him, who can stay without food or sleep for days together, who shall be the toughest nut to crack with no amount of physical abuse or electric shock being enough on him. Sounds a tad movie-ish, doesn't it? But well, there  are a few military projects trying to materialize this concept.

The animal behavior is being analyzed to see if a few particular actions may be replicated in men. Like, if a soldier is able to eat grass like cattle, never sleep like a dolphin, etcetera, then we might be creating what can be aptly termed a "super-soldier". These #-Link-Snipped-# pose a lot of risk, and whether to employ such tactics for the better, is something that's still being considered.

Yes, exoskeleton will help soldiers climb Burj Khalifa like Tom Cruise in MI4.

Also, to make up for the features God hasn't bestowed a human with -like fangs, wings, claws, etc.- an Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency - Content not found has been developed, rendering the soldier some extra strength. Also, it makes up for better flexibility and better maneuverability for the soldier. Instead of depending on ropes, ladders, and other similar climbing tools, which demand a lot of time, a project strives to originate climbing aids for the soldiers, that shall allow them to climb with a full combat load, sans the ropes or ladders. Imagine a lizard climbing a vertical wall, yes, that's how this soldier shall be scaling heights. Impressive, isn't it? What do you think?
