Bengaluru -Based Witworks Launches Blink Watch

Bengaluru based Internet of Things company Witworks have launched their flagship wearable called the Blink Watch. The Blink Watch is quite unusual as it does not have Android Wear running on it instead it has a custom operating system that was developed by the company. The Blink Watch has a round stainless steel casing along with premium cut straps that encases the 1.39-inch 400×400 pixel AMOLED display that is covered with curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Blink Watch can be customised with various watch faces, straps and cases. One of the highlights of the Blink Watch is that it has an internal memory of 8GB on which you can store songs that can be played on your smartphone with the help of the Blink Music app developed by the company.

The circular user interface on the Blink Watch has been inspired by celestial bodies in orbit. The custom operating system is called Marvin. You can hail cabs from Uber and Ola using the Blink Watch. The Blink Watch can also be used to view notifications from messaging apps like WhatsApp. Your Google Calendar and Apple Calendar schedule can be synced with the Blink Watch. The Blink Watch also serves as a fitness tracker observing your daily activity and reporting them on the Blink Fit app. You have the freedom to talk with the Blink Watch to interact with various apps and menus.

Underneath the shiny exterior we have a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The Blink Watch has a battery life of two days thanks to its 320mAh battery. The motion sensing is taken care of by the nice axis motion sensor with advanced fitness tracking algorithms. The prices of Blink Watch start at Rs. 12,499 for the Classic Black model and go up to Rs. 15,499 for the Steel Silver model. You can check out the Blink Watch in the source link below.
