AUTOMATED RIGHT FUEL SYSTEM (ARFS)

Project Abstract / Summary : Automated Right Fuel System (A R F S) is a simple system, reliable,cost effective & highly efficient system which forecasts information about mis fuelling and there by saving the vehicle from catastrophic damage thus helping to solve a major global issue.
ARFS is a simple system designed to help car owners to fill right type of fuel from fuel stations, thus avoiding mis-fuelling. Sometimes by mistake pump attendants will fill wrong type of fuel in your car and this may cause potential damage to your car and create high workshop bill also. Our system uses simple RFID technology to easily distinguish both petrol and diesel.
Our system is so simple and advanced which make sure that you fill only the right type of fuel in your car.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : My father being an oil company employee faces the major problem of misfuelling in cars, so being an engineering student I thought of designing a simple and cost effective technique.

You probably think it couldn't happen to you. But nobody puts the wrong fuel in their car deliberately, and "mis-fuelling" has mushroomed into a huge problem for tens of thousands of drivers. In fact it is happening, on average, more than 400 times a day, each mistake costing about thousands to fix, and it's not likely to be covered by insurance.

Project Highlights : The problem known as mis-fuelling is a global issue and hence our product has a greater consumer market awaiting.

From the survey conducted by British Insurance brokers Association the misfuelling rate per day has been increased from 100 in 1980 to 500 in 2015.so there lies the importance of ARFS system in the global market.

ARFS is the only simple and the most effective technique which can completely remove the problem of misfuelling from the world.
