Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 Revamped Variant Arrives In India - Specs At Glance

ASUS's mega popular ZenFone series in India just got a new entrant with the launch of the company's revamped variant the 'ZB452KG' model ZenFone Go 4.5. The phone is special for two reasons - the budget price tag it is offered at and the kind of features it packs for that price. The Android 5.1 smartphone brings several top of the class features for the segment it is positioned in. Let's take a look at some of the most important features and specifications on the ZenFone 4.5 on account of its launch via several e-commerce portals including - Flipkart, PayTM, Snapdeal, ShopClues and Amazon as well as the company's retail stores.

Winner of the iF Design Awards 2015, the ZenFone Go sports an ergonomic trademark arc design which makes the phone feel natural and comfortable to hold even if you are left handed. As the name suggests, the phone comes with a 4.5 inch touch screen display with FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. There's a 3.5 mm audio jack slot on the body and microUSB port for charging and transferring date over the cable. All this inside a 11.2 mm thick body that tapers to 3.6 mm at its thinnest edge.

Coming to the top specifications: We have a 2070 mAh Li-Polymer battery powering up the device, the support for Dual SIM cards (WCDMA), a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the memory to up to 64 GB and an 8 GB internal flash storage all come under the package. To supplement this memory, ASUS also provides support for 100 GB of free cloud space on Asus WebStorage.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 Quad Core processor is the phone's core engine, which co-exists with an Adreno 302 GPU and supports WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G connectivity, Up to 720p capture and playback and Qualcomm's quick charge 2.0 technology.

Layered on top of the Android 5.1 OS is Asus's ZenUI - the interface that comes bundled with a bunch of really good features such as ZenMotion that lets users double tap anywhere on the display to awaken the phone, 'Themes' to help you personalize your gadget, 'PhotoCollage' to help you share your photos in beautiful collages and montages and ZenCircle - your own social media network to share your adventures.

Last but definitely not the least - the cameras on the ZenFone Go 4.5: There are actually two variants of the phone depending upon the sensors used. One is with a 0.3 megapixel front camera and a 5 megapixel rear camera, whereas the second one has a 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. The first variant is priced at Rs. 5,299 and the second at Rs. 5,699.

While the front camera has a f2.4 aperture that has support for features such as night mode, panorama, HDR and timelapse for taking selfies, the rear camera comes with Real Time Beautification, Auto Focus, Wide View, LED Flash, Zero Shutter Lag and also a Low Light mode.
