Asus unveils Android supported ZenWatch 3 in India

Asus has launched its new smartwatch wearable, ZenWatch 3, for the Indian markets. The casing of the watch comes with a jewellery grade stainless steel finish. The watch powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Being made available in three models in the country, the WI503Q-1LDBR0015 model features a Gunmetal case and a Dark Brown Leather strap priced at Rs. 18,999.

The WI503Q-2RBGE0007 model sports a Silver case and a Beige Rubber strap priced at Rs. 17,599 while the WI503Q-1RGRY0007 model flaunts a Gunmetal case and a Brownish Grey Rubber strap priced at Rs. 17,599. The watch further comprises of a 1.39-inch Amoled display with a 400 x 400 pixel resolution (287 ppi pixel density) protected by Gorilla Glass, a digital crown, a customisable button, and a launch button for the ZenFit activity tracking app.

There is provision for 512 MB of RAM with 4 GB of inbuilt storage. The Smartwear watch is just 9.95mm thick. It sports a 341 mAh battery slated to deliver up to two days of charge. It also comes equipped with the ‘HyperCharge’ a fast charging feature touted to charge the battery up to 60 percent in 15 minutes. More than fifty customisable watch faces are available on the new smartwatch from the ZenWatch Manager smartphone app. The smartwatch will be available exclusively via online retailer Flipkart, with pre-orders starting for two of the three models from today itself.
