Aston Martin & Factor Bikes Create One-77 : World's Most Technologically Advanced Road Bike

Aston Martin and Factor Bikes have teamed up to create the world's most technologically advanced road bike - the One-77. The cycle takes its name from the One-77, one of the most expensive sports car built by Aston Martin. The high-tech has been provided by the Factor Bikes, creator of the F001 bike which had the crown of the most technologically advance cycle. Let's have a quick overview of what you, the bike collector, can expect for US$39,000 -

The chasis of the bike uses carbon fiber to keep the weight to its minimum. The Shimano Dura-Ace gear system provides the necessary torque to custom made carbon wheels. The bike is equipped with front and rear high-intensity LEDs. What makes the bike stand out from the crowd is the high-end computer system on-board. The computer system, originally developed for Factor Bikes' F001 gets an upgrade for the One-77. There is a complex array of sensors viz. GPS, crank-position sensors, rear-wheel speed sensor that together give the rider an option to measure about 100 different parameters. So you'd quickly know the crank torque, wasted leg power, acceleration, heart rate etc. The controls for the computer system are mounted on the handle bar so that the cyclist can operate it easily during rides.
